Potter, Daisy Aragon, learned the art of pottery from her mother Clara Martin Victorino. Her pottery can be found across the country in galleries, gift shops and homes of collectors.
As a Native American-owned business, we are committed to supporting Native American art and artists. All art and jewelry are hand selected and most come directly from the reservations and the artists.
Rebecca Martin is Acoma Pueblo from New Mexico. Acoma is located 65 miles west of Albuquerque. She was born and raised by her grandparents on the reservation and was taught the traditional ways of the Acoma culture, including the art of pottery. Rebecca's mother, Daisy Aragon, brother, Marvis Aragon and his wife, Wanda, are all award-winning potters. Some of their work can be seen on the Pottery page.
Rebecca's knowledge of southwestern tribal traditions and arts is crucial to product selection. Jewelry, pottery, and art and crafts are chosen based on her knowledge of traditional Native American artwork. She knows the processes and materials used by traditional and contemporary artists and the artists' relationship to traditional arts and crafts. The pieces are carefully chosen based on the artists' faithful representation of the traditional arts.
